After reading about the Appalachian Trail, I set a goal to hike the entire trail over a 10 year period. Hence the trail name of “10 Years”.
Since starting I have taken hundreds (over 700 as of 1/1/04) of photos. This website was started to share those photos. Each year (to the left) has the photos taken that year and a write up. In general the write up is not about the weather, distance or scenery.
Rather it is my musing about life, how hiking impacts the rest of my life, how other things impact my hiking and about watching my son grow up while we hike. If you don’t like this mushy stuff, just look at the pictures.
Keep on hiking and say hi if you see me on the trail.
